Some dance to remember, some dance to forget. Who could forget those famous lyrics from the hit song, though somewhat haunting and eerie, by the rock group the Eagles . And there is more than one best California hotel that has at one time been called the title song hotel by at least one of the guests who have stayed there and likely sung a bit of that song. However, the great hotels in this beautiful state have little in common with that song, except for their ability to great unforgettable memories and some of the ones that are located in the southern desert region may feature the aroma of warm flowers budding in the spring.

Many people have analyzed the potential meaning behind it and others have theorized about the exact location of the hotel. And regardless of the specific intention or meaning of that song, southern California and its fabulous beaches as well as desert lands is amazingly beautiful.

From beautiful afternoon picnics to surfing, scuba diving and sail boating, the list of options is just beginning. Many southern California residents grow up on the beach and can swim and surf as early as they can walk. And for many of these people, marine life conservation and environmental advocacy becomes a standard life priority.
