With tax time coming up, it gives us an opportunity to review which charities we gave to and which are most deserving of our contributions for the coming year. The organization collects cell phone and cellular phone batteries to refurbish and redistribute to soldiers. If the cellular phones can’t be made new again then the organization disposes of the old cell phones. The organization swaps the cell phones for prepaid cell phone to give to soldiers so they have minutes available to call their family and loved ones at home.

With long deployments and multiple months away from loved ones, a soldier appreciates the ability to communicate with those he or she left behind.
