There are a ton of internet service providers to choose from. I have been staying away from all the ones that aren’t wireless internet providers. With wireless Internet, there is really no need for you to have to be plugged into a wall these days. I mean a standard laptop battery lasts anywhere from 5 to 6 hours, and the extended batteries last anywhere from 8 to 9 hours. You pretty much can work a full day before needing to charge up. Now you can diversify your workday by working outside, or in a conference room, or somewhere near a window.

For us, having wireless routers has allowed us to continue our normal admin work while in the testing labs. We can record data, and send it off in real time. Not only that, but we have the ability to let our supervisors know there is a problem immediately. I can’t begin to imagine not having wireless now. Actually, I can’t really imagine working for any company that doesn’t have wireless Internet. It really allows a sort of freedom to the users by allowing them to roam around without losing their chat or video sessions. It is a huge advantage for any business.
