If you ask any of my friends, they will tell you that I am not the best when it comes to dating.  It seems that I pick up the women that are not good for me and have issues.  I’ll admit that I have issues too, but still.

I have never been one to give up, so I have been trying to look for love in other places other than where I usually hang out.  It has been tough for me to get out of my usual routine, but in the end, the reward was worth it.

In fact, just last night I had the perfect date.  Now, that might be a little weird for a guy to say, but I picked up this beautiful woman in the most unlikely place: at a marine accessories store.

I just happened to be looking at some stern drive parts, and when the sales clerk came and asked me how I was doing, I found myself looking into the eyes of the most beautiful woman that I had ever seen.

It was love at first sight.

Needless to say, I ended up asking her out, and we went for our first date last night.  She is just perfect, and I look forward to going out with her tonight - maybe she is my soul mate… we’ll have to see.
