Where You Might Use a Gravel Screener

A gravel screener is a piece of equipment that is used for a couple of different purposes. Because it has multiple purposes, it can be used in multiple locations. A few examples of the locations where a gravel screener might be used are:
- Farms and industrial-size gardens. The main function of a gravel screener is to sift through dirt to remove debris. The gravel screener is often used as a composting machine in places where food is grown.
- Residential areas. People who have their own small gardens may also use a gravel screener. They’ll typically use a small handheld or portable screener since an industrial gravel screener would be too big for this job.
- Mines and quarries. The gravel screener is also used in various types of mining locations such as quarries.
- Roadways. Another use of the gravel screener is to crush gravel that needs to be used in various projects. You may see a gravel screener working on the side of the road during a paving project if it’s being used in this way.
A gravel screener may be used in any place where gravel needs to be sifted through, removed or crushed for use. The four places above are the most common places to see them at work.
