I like the idea of a feng shui garden.  I started doing research for the best way of doing it and came across some different ways of adding the different elements of feng shui to the whole of the garden.  In addition to plenty of green, it was necessary to also have a fire feature as well as a water feature such as adding a mounted wall fountain.  The fire feature was easily done with a small oven that matched the feel of the outdoor area.  The water feature was also easy to achieve because we used wall water fountains to add this element in the proper places in the garden.

The elements of feng shui include having all things laid out in a specific way as well as having something that represents all of the essential things we must have to live.  It is really a neat idea to do something like this based on an idea like feng shui.  I guess it adds the idea of Zen and harmony to a place that already has a lot of peace to offer. It is a great concept to add to any outdoor area. Outdoor areas are usually very peaceful and serene, this just adds to it.
