What a wonderful day!  It was the first time Herb and I have seen the whole family together since Christmas.  Kevin and Joanna were up with the twins, who are so big I can hardly believe it.  Sammy and John came over with their three girls, and the kids all got to play with their cousins, which doesn’t happen as often as it should.  It’s too bad Kevin moved so far away.  I couldn’t bear it if Sammy moved too, especially since her youngest is still a toddler, and what can I say?  Gramma likes playing with the babies.  They all brought swimsuits and everyone was jumping in and out of the pool all day, only taking a short break so Grandpa could give them hot dogs off the built in grill.  Then when it got too hot out, we all sat at the grill islands for ice cream.  Then I practically had to dunk AJ in the outdoor sink, he got so much ice cream on him.  It was just so wonderful to hear so many voices, so much laughter, and so much fun all around me.  Kevin looks happy and Jo is pregnant again, and she just glows when she’s pregnant.  She’s such a pretty girl to begin with.  Sam and Jo get along pretty well, too, so they were thick as thieves while the husbands ate.  I just loved it.  Great day!
