I wish I had known to recommend Disability Insurance for Physician friends before now because I have one who could really use it now. It would have been so easy for her to just get a Disability Insurance Quote and then I’m sure if she had known what lay in store for her she would have jumped all over it. I feel so bad for her and I really wish there is more that I could have done for her, or that I would have known more about it before now. But there is nothing I can do for her, so let me tell my story so that maybe I can help someone else from getting stuck where she was.

Getting used to not being able to do the things you have always been able to do before and maybe the things that you even took for granted because they were so obvious and so simple would be hard enough without having to worry about how you are going to afford to even survive from now on. It can be absolutely devastating to have to face a sudden and long term disability just that in itself, let alone having to deal with everything else like money.
