Here is an example of the steps that a Scottsdale couple might follow to get mediation Scottsdale and achieve an affordable divorce Scottsdale resolution to the problems in their marriage:
- Commit to ending the marriage. If you think there’s a chance of working it out, try that first.
- Agree that you are going to end the marriage as amicably as possible. You may even want to write out a contract and each sign it.
- Work together to find a divorce attorney who can provide divorce mediation.
- Meet with the attorney and ask any questions that you might have.
- Agree together that this is the attorney that you want to work with. Begin working on the divorce with the attorney.
- Take time to yourselves to deal with the emotional issues that will inevitably arise during the divorce mediation. Cry on the shoulders of others but continue to be civil to one another.
