But I wouldn’t want to actually live there. I moved from Orange County, CA to Colorado, but one of the places we did look into moving to was the San Diego area.  First of all, the rush hour traffic there is no different than the LA area.  Secondly, I was a little tired of the “marine layer” that visits so much of the coast (we got it in Orange County, too).  I wanted crisp beauty, smaller crowds, bigger vistas and most of all, a cheaper and safer place to live.  Not to mention a place where illegal Mexicans crossing the border wouldn’t be running through my own backyard!

But visiting the area is an entirely different matter!  You’re treated to a variety of sights, sounds, tastes and smells (this latter is a good thing:  I do love the smell of the ocean!)  I’d go visit San Diego any day!

I plan to have the tattoo be a pretty big size so I want to make sure that the design is solid. I would like it to be pretty intricate, since I had wanted it to span a good majority of my back. I also wanted a more gothic type of feel to it with some interesting shading for the individual scale. I would have liked to get it done pretty soon, but I think I can hold out for another couple of weeks until I find that perfect design.

Then when I was searching for something else on-line I came across a site that boasted a selection of fun cat toys that cats will play with for hours.  I immediately became optimistic about the possibility of my cat taking an interest in these toys because they were clearly different than any toys I’ve seen up till then.  In particular I found a line of toys from vo-toys which was an extremely interesting line of toys.

When the big day came my cat sniffed around the toy pretending to be uninterested, but then a few hours later I caught him batting around the toys I bought.  He even hides his treasures under our bed so we don’t disturb them.  I suppose we just needed to find the right toy to suit his interests.

But I recently found one that is different. It is a reality show that follows the reality of a family. Not a normal family, but instead we are Keeping Up with the Kardashians! And we get to see plenty of Kim Kardashian booty in the show too. After all, if I think of Kim Kardashian spandex comes to mind! And have you noticed the hot youngster on that show? Kourtney Kardashian is pretty easy on the eyes also. Sure, the show isn’t thick on plot or character development. And their reality is far different that a normal person’s reality. But it is a fun show.

Learning to sail a boat is a thing of character.  The sea can’t be controlled or be bidden, and the harder you try to coil your mortal hands around its unruly strength, the faster it will rush through your fingers and foil you.  How could she not see that, not wish that for our boys?  The sea is a source of limitless calm and ultimate responsibility while still being an escape.  I mean, come on, it’s so much better than a video game! 

Being responsible for a boat, especially a boat that will carry my family, I may get excited about, but I take it very seriously.  I want to make sure everything is in tip top shape and best working order, because it is easy to get hurt.  That said, yes, I do have an obscene amount of fun.

Here are a few tips to consider when decorating your Christmas tree.

• Add Depth- One of the biggest mistakes people make when decorating their tree is to place everything on the edge of the branches. Give your tree some depth by working from the inside out. Hang your lights and ornaments at both the core of your tree and the edge of the branches. This takes your tree from 2D to 3D.
• Keep Tree Looking Fresh- If you don’t use an artificial tree, you need to focus on keeping your tree looking green and fresh. Make sure the tree always has enough water, and eliminate heat near the tree. You want to make certain the tree absorbs as much water as possible so that it can stay fresher for longer.
• Use Special Ornaments- Don’t just buy a big box of ornaments for your tree and leave it at that. Mix in some custom items that will give your tree a unique look. Whether these are homemade ornaments or hard to find ones from another country, it’s these little touches that take your tree to the next level.

I am glad to have the skin complexion I have, being half white and half brown. It has proven to be very useful throughout my life. Even though no one ever guesses Hawaiian when they are trying to figure out “what I am”, it is always either Mexican or Native American since I live in Arizona, it has been great because I get all the social advantages of being “white” without the fear of being white amongst minority groups who are enjoying a collective culture of brownness. I can fit in from Ohio to New Zealand to Thailand, and at first glance you wouldn’t know I wasn’t a native anywhere I go. It’ is truly an awesome gift to have and one I hope to pass on to my kids!

Specific details about the park have yet to surface and current budget cuts may threaten to halt any progress on the proposed gathering place.  However, some integral features of the park have been mentioned.

An interactive water fountain is expected to be a major focal point of the park, but it is still unclear whether it will be formatted as a series of mounted wall fountains or a fountain built directly into the ground.  Other Phoenix parks have opted to utilize both floor fountains and wall water fountains.

The park is also planned to include special night lights, approximately ten to fourteen feet in height.  The Plexiglas sticks will be featured throughout the park.

Wavy steel canopies will decorate portions of the park and provide shade for patrons.  The canopies will allow some shade to pass through and will hold several solar cells that can provide power to much of the park.

The still unnamed park, in conjunction with the new light rail system, is intended to further grow and revitalize downtown Phoenix.

Right away, we started on our journey to find a new home in carlsbad ca and it was quite an extensive search, until we talked to Jim Jones. Jim was a carlsbad ca commercial real estate agent and he immediately took us through one of his live work homes for a tour. I gasped at the spaciousness that it offered, and the fact that I could run my business from there was a bonus. These quaint townhomes were within walking distance of my husband’s new workplace; almost everything was within walking distance. We took the place, moved as soon as we could and are now settled into our new live work loft that we love.
