Florida health insurance is something that I have as an employee in the Ft Lauderdale’s restaurant district.  I was able to get it through the small group that I was a part of through the restaurant association.  The director of the group was telling me that he had gotten a lot of groups for Florida small group health insurance.  This is a group that constitutes more than 2 but no more than 100 people.  You usually get a lot better rates when you are a part of a group instead of just an individual.   

The health insurance in Florida was something I was so happy I was able to get.  Being a part of an employer who did not offer the health insurance I needed was somewhat daunting to me until I was able to get it through the group of restaurant association.  What a relief to be a part of a group that recognizes a need and is able to fill it with a benefit such as health insurance.  Because not all small businesses can offer these types of benefits, other groups out there offer a way for people to be covered.  They sometimes also extend benefits to the individuals’ family too.
