Choosing Employee Headsets

When you have a business where your employees will be spending a lot of time on the phones, such as a call center or a company with a large customer service department, it is important not to skimp on buying headsets for your employees. Your people may be on these all day, so you want to be sure the headsets are as comfortable and as high quality as possible.
For instance, one problem that may arise with lesser quality headsets is that the sound quality may not be as good. Since a customer service department is often dealing with people who are already upset about something, the last thing you want to do is annoy them further with staticky phone lines, muffled voices, etc.
High quality headsets also make a difference because they tend to be more comfortable than cheaper models. Providing your employees with uncomfortable headsets essentially means setting them up to require more breaks, which ultimately decreases your productivity. Buying top quality headsets, on the other hand, not only keeps your employees physically happier, but also shows them that you care about their comfort — and happy employees are more loyal and productive than unhappy employees!
Titan series headsets and Comet series headsets are two comfortable, high quality options to choose from. In general, businesses should stay away from wireless phone headsets as much as possible, because the sound is usually not as good and is less predictable.
